About Us
Operativ (formerly titled Evergreen Orthopedic Reserach Lab) was founded in 2006 through the collaboration of many designing orthopedic surgeons. Operativ strives to educate orthopedic surgeons in order to improve surgical techniques and patient outcomes by developing orthopedic instruments that allow the utilization of advanced techniques. In the last decade we have witnessed great advances in minimally invasive surgical hip and knee replacement techniques.
Operativ was created in part to help answer the need for instruments specifically designed for MIS and navigation techniques. Achieving this brings about the necessity of employing a full team of design specialists including surgeon designers, CAD artists, tissue specialists, and ISO-9000 certified manufacturers.
